Debra "Sam" King

President

Ms. King has an extensive professional background including working within a limited budget, fund-raising, marketing, managing full-time staff and adjunct employees, community outreach, and collaborating with and for profit and nonprofit groups and government entities.

Ms. King has a Nevada teaching and administrative license. Her teaching experiences include teaching government to high school seniors and to adults working to earn a secondary exist credential through the Clark County Department of Adult Education. She has worked with diverse students including those who are at risk. She also has administrative experience as a retired GED Administrator for the Clark County School District.

She is former President of the League of Women Voters of Nevada. She was working on grassroots, lobbying and advocating for the League, for and against political issues and grassroots advocacy. Sam Is currently Vice President of the American Association of University Women Las Vegas Community outreach has provided Ms. King the opportunity to collaborate with the juvenile justice system, like-minded agencies and nonprofits, and the system of higher education.

Ms. King earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Northwestern University and a Master’s Degree in Administration from Nova University.
